Spiral away

A wise man once told me that crushes should never bother you. He told me that you shouldn't even have them. Crushes are painful, deadly things. They create doubt, anger and sadness. Crushes should not be placed upon a pedestal and danced around. They shouldn't be praised or flirted with. They ought to be confronted and told of their power. They ought to be stripped of that power and left bare to the onslaught of crude, righteous thoughts. Why not confront them? If it's meant to be you'll both know, not just one of you. Best case scenario you find yourselves. Worse case scenario you never see them again and move on. Brace yourself.
