Thin Air

A nice shot from Sequoia NP in California. This is on the trail up to Alta Peak, elevation 11,200 ft. This was the tallest mountain I have ever climbed, and my 57 year-old dad did it with me. The views from the top were even more breathtaking then I had hoped. We could see across nearly 2/3 of the state of California, from Mt. Whitney in the east to the western Coastal Range. Oh how I miss the summer.
