Fire is one of man's greatest discoveries. It has the power to bring warmth and reflection, and to both sustain and end life. Campfire lore is built around these principles, and the
mesmerising glow of flame flows in stark contrast to the sporadic spark. They are so different yet come from the same source. As if two personalities of the same being; one the root--the mellow core, the consistent. And the other the short-lived adventurer, springing forth into the abyss. I find myself the flame, yet longing instead to be the spark. In the end fire dies, all to ash.
