Rosetta

Language is a barrier that will never be broken. We can learn, master, and teach one another, but what of those languages that are dead? That have no living authority or have altogether vanished into dust? From the Latin of antiquity to the petroglyphs and hieroglyphics of Native Americans and the ancients of the Middle East, perhaps what we will never know is what keeps many of us searching for the answers.

Square One


Too often things come full circle. In a peculiar spirit of reversal, the recipients become the lenders, and the all-mighty find themselves picking their way among the crowd. In this case the giver is now poised to give in to what has always clipped at his heels. Nowhere to move but forward, nowhere to fall but up.
