Never cease

Connecting past to present. Memories and passions fade, but desires never die. Passions are futile--insignificant, unrighteous. They are lesser forms of reality, but they cannot live. Desires never cease. They change shape, they change power, but in the end they stand to guide us--to fame and folly--to the ends of the earth and everywhere in between.

Gently

There exists a sliver of hope to those who try. Nothing significant will ever befall you if you sit around and wait. Don't make others take up your slack. Pursue.

Spiral away

A wise man once told me that crushes should never bother you. He told me that you shouldn't even have them. Crushes are painful, deadly things. They create doubt, anger and sadness. Crushes should not be placed upon a pedestal and danced around. They shouldn't be praised or flirted with. They ought to be confronted and told of their power. They ought to be stripped of that power and left bare to the onslaught of crude, righteous thoughts. Why not confront them? If it's meant to be you'll both know, not just one of you. Best case scenario you find yourselves. Worse case scenario you never see them again and move on. Brace yourself.

Step outside

Somewhere deep inside I always stop and think what will happen if I open other doors and push forth. Problem is, my more cautious half always rudely butts in and keeps me on a more moderate path. Who the hell gave this internal police force its authority?
